Starting Out

I like to cook with fire, I get lost in the process, and even if you don't do so well, you learn. For me, even sometimes the learning provides delicious results. It just might not look great or taste exactly what you had imagined. I'd like to hear from people how they got into BBQ, grilling, general primitive cooking, and what their favorite aspects of this art are.
